How to work from home. Investor DNA lessons. I have been remote working for 3 years. These are my lessons. Please submit your suggestions and I will share them with all.
- Claim your corner. It is most important to physically claim a corner as your office. Especially for those that live in NYC where space may be scarce.
- Claim your time. Because you are physically at home, people assume you are available and can interrupt you Set up parameters for interruption (e.g., fire in the house is acceptable; changing light bulb is not). For house chores run a list of things that need to get done during the week, today, vs the weekend.
- Claim your routine. Make sure you get your routine down. Keep up with your routine. A routine. Any routine. Trust me on this one.
