How to work from home. Investor DNA lessons. I have been remote working for 3 years. These are my lessons. Please submit your suggestions and I will share them with all.

  1. Claim your corner. It is most important to physically claim a corner as your office. Especially for those that live in NYC where space may be scarce.
  2. Claim your time. Because you are physically at home, people assume you are available and can interrupt you Set up parameters for interruption (e.g., fire in the house is acceptable; changing light bulb is not). For house chores run a list of things that need to get done during the week, today, vs the weekend.
  3. Claim your routine. Make sure you get your routine down. Keep up with your routine. A routine. Any routine. Trust me on this one.
  4. You are IT baby. Get your tech tools, and make sure it all works.You are the support for your machines, including the wife and…
